Eddie Valentine (guitars, back-up vocals)
Ed has been playing the blues for a long time. He just
recently relocated to San Francisco from the East Coast.
There, he worked for many years with well known blues
guitarist Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters. With Ronnie, Ed
toured all over Europe and the U.S. and is featured on Ronnie
Earl's latest album entitled Language of the Soul on Bullseye
Records. Whether Ed is playing the real solid style of rhythm
guitar of which he is a master, or playing lines with the
harp-horn section, or soloing, he is always rock solid, with a
very creative touch. A great driving force in the
Internationals. |

Don Baraka (tenor & baritone saxophones, flute, back-up
vocals)
A player for all seasons and reasons! Don has been blowing
since 1957. He is definitely a "West Coast" player. He even
played a 3 year stint in the far western state of Hawaii in
the 1960's with the infamous "Soul Makers", the first band to
ever bring soul music to the Islands. Don has the "Tone" most
sax players can only strive for. When he plays, he puts his
soul into it and pulls the audience in with him. He is a multi
instrumentalist. All reeds, woodwinds, keys, guitar,
percussion, and a string of others, are all within his realm
of expertise. As a co-front man with Red, he compliments Red
and the band with his stage presence. |

Dave Coltrara (bass, back-up vocals)
Dave Coltrara hails from the East Coast. New Jersey was
home, but his bass playing took him up and down the Eastern
Seaboard. He is a 25 year veteran of both the E bass and
stand-up. Having studied Jazz with the legendary Bobby Shew,
Dave is an all around great technician with a lot of "Swing"
savvy. His addition to The Internationals is very refreshing -
adding some great bass solos to his rock solid groove. He
always plays what you want to hear! |

Scott Lamantia (drums, back-up vocals)
Scott is the consummate Blues/R&B drummer. During his
28 years of playing, he has held down "The Pocket" for such
notable performers as John Lee Hooker, Deacon Jones, Chris
Cain, Frankie Lee, Larry "Arkansas" Davis, Johnny Otis Band,
Andy Just, Guitar Shorty, Bobby Murray and Jackie Payne.
Guitar whizzes John Wedermeyer and Andy Mazzilli and many
more. He also has a strong background as a schooled musician
and his love of Jazz and Swing have lead him to sitting in
with such greats as "The Duke Ellington Band" and "The Stan
Kenton Band". He is a strong musician and performer and is
exciting to watch. Wait until you hear his Jump Blues solos!
